S-F B-M: A Possible Relaunch

If you are a regular viewer of this blog, you'll see that I haven't posted anything in ages. I've tried to finish off a few issues of the mag, but it hasn't turned out. So so far, it seems like I'm just going to relaunch the mag in January 2021. This way I can already do a lot of the issues in advance, so I can do a sort of make-it-and-post-it-a-couple-of-months-later-when-I-need-to. In the meantime, here's an excerpt from Chapter 2 of The Second Imperium Trilogy: Book I - Devastation to get you excited. Hope you enjoy it!:

“Where is The Mandarin?!!” Governor Davi shouted into the ears of one of his assistants. The Mandarin had recently disappeared on it’s voyage to find another habitable planet for humanity. Davi was unhappy that he hadn’t heard anything from the captain or crew, and that the only thing he did hear was rumour of it’s disappearance.
“Well, sir, that question is one that many currently ask. Unfortunately, we have no news, good or bad. There’s still a small possibility that—”
“Small possibilities don’t count. I learnt that in the Battle of Mexico. I was a small child. My parents and I were in danger. They said there was a small possibility that they would turn out fine, but things didn’t go exactly as planned. I was forced to adapt to something new—and from then on, I have chosen to never depend on small possibilities.”
“The thing is, sir, the Sffyr system is full of many bogeys, so there is a chance that their communications might be jammed, or—”
“Just find the ship and everyone from it. I don’t want more blood spilled on my hands. Not like this.” Davi sat down and the assistant walked out of the room. Davi pulled out a cigar, lit it, and some few moments later, threw it into an incinerating can. He then pressed a red button laying under his desk. A figure flashed on via hologram.

Sci-Fi Bi-Monthly: Returning Soon

Hi all. I'm sorry that I haven't posted the second issue of Sci-Fi Bi-Monthly yet. I've been doing other stuff and I haven't managed to finish the first Knightshade chapter or the second T&T chapter, but I'll hopefully be done soon. Thanks for waiting!

The Story so Far...

Coming soon to The Official Starport Forums: Issue 2 of the Sci-Fi Bi-Monthly Magazine is coming on the 1st of July, so for those of you who don't want to have to read back issues, I'll be putting up a "The Story so Far..." thread for each story. The day before a new issue is released, a summary of the previous issue's chapter will be uploaded. So, by the time the final chapter of a story comes, a summary of almost the whole book will be on the forum. I'll add summaries of all of the chapters of Issue 1 on the 30th. Keep a lookout!

Sci-Fi Bi-Monthly: 1 Day to Go

1 day to go until the launch of the Sci-Fi Bi-Monthly Magazine. I just have to finish writing chapter 1 of Thompson and Thomson, as well as look through and edit the issue. When the issue is released tomorrow, I will add the issue to the "Sci-Fi Bi-Monthly Magazine" page, as well as post the issue on the forums. In the meantime, you can view the cover on the forums here. The issue will include the following main features:

Starport 97346-A Hub Log 1
The Second Imperium Trilogy: Book One - Devastation, Chapter 1
Blue Blood: First Dawn, Chapter 1
New Millennium: New Year's Eve, 1999
Thompson and Thomson: Early Cases, Chapter 1

The contents of the following issues will be mostly the same. When the magazine is launched tomorrow, you will be able to download a PDF from Google Drive. Sadly the magazine is not in print, especially due to the current COVID-19 crisis, so the magazine will be published as an e-zine. Stay tuned!

Starport Press: Official Launch

And it is finally here... The official launch of the Starport Press blog. The blog was previously unavailable to the public, but now it is. For a bit more information on what Starport is, you can read the previous post, "Welcome to Starport!" Of course, there's no fancy launch or anything like that, but I just wanted to put a little post here. If you don't already know, there is also the Official Starport Forums to look through, which you can find here. There's not much on there right now, but so far you can read a couple of my posts and look through the galleries. I've also added two new buttons. One reads "ISMF Headquarters." If you have previously visited my fan-fiction blog, The Sith Archives of Darth Fandom, you will notice that I have the same button there. Follow the instructions on the page and you will be taken to an in-universe The Second Imperium Trilogy blog. The other button is "Read my Fan-Fiction." Click on there and you will be taken to The Sith Archives of Darth Fandom and you can read all of my fan-fic. I am hoping to update all of the noted pages soon, so keep a lookout.
